The Australian Securities and Investments Commission is taking over responsibility for supervision of real-time trading on Australia's domestic licensed markets. This will supplement our existing responsibility for the enforcement of misconduct laws in Australia's financial markets. This expansion in our market supervision is one more step towards establishing Australia as a financial services hub in the region.
