Assessment and Intelligence (A&I) interact with many of ASIC's stakeholders in the course of performing A&I's key functions of licensing of Australian credit and financial services licensees, carrying out professional registrations of auditors and liquidators and receiving and responding to information received about misconduct and intelligence.
As an Analyst you will:
- assess Australian Credit Licence applications as per the National Consumer Credit Protection Act, using established policy and procedures
- assess Australian Financial Services Licence applications and Auditor and Liquidator registration applications as per the Corporations Act, using established policy and procedures
- carry out assessments of licensing related applications in support of the licensing regime
You will need to be curious, a keen problem solver and enjoy analysing information. These roles are well suited for recent graduates. The skills gained in Business, Commerce, Finance, Law or Economics degree will greatly assist you in performing this role.
