This is an exciting time to join the Investment Managers & Superannuation (IMS) team.
With a strong focus on improving the fitness of our superannuation system for consumers, IMS is responsible for the regulation of superannuation trustees delivered through our risk-based reviews, engaging and influencing stakeholders, research into emerging issues, and improving frameworks and practices.
Your work will have a direct impact on improving the quality of retirement and superannuation insurance outcomes for consumers.
In this role, you will use your extensive knowledge of the superannuation industry from a product management, operations and systems, client service, or compliance point of view to help shape ASIC's work to change the behaviour of superannuation trustees.
undertake and manage risk-based supervision (e.g. surveillance, review, and monitoring) and compliance projects relating to superannuation trustees to ensure compliance with the law
assist with assessments of disclosures relevant to superannuation industries
undertake and contribute to research and analysis on emerging issues in superannuation including the characteristics, behaviour and needs of financial consumers and investors
analyse and draw conclusions from a range of qualitative and quantitative data, and
develop relationships and liaise with internal and external stakeholders, industry groups and other regulatory bodies.
To succeed in this role, you will have extensive experience in superannuation with a Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, commerce, finance or law is required. You will have strong organisational skills and experience in resolving complex client or stakeholder enquiries.
Your ability to be outcomes driven, and successfully manage projects will be crucial to your success.
