The Investment Managers & Superannuation (IMS) team is responsible for the regulation of responsible entities, managed investment schemes, investment managers, custodial services providers and superannuation trustees and funds. This includes conduct and disclosure requirements. We also provide assistance and advice to government, primarily Treasury, on law reform in the areas that we regulate.
In this role, you will use your extensive back office experience in operations, systems or client services obtained from working in financial services (funds management or superannuation highly regarded) to drive change.
monitor, analyse and report on IMS performance, including actively monitoring progress against the IMS Business, Project, Data and Communication Plans
contribute to the preparation and finalisation of periodic IMS internal and external reports, delivering insights and analysis from data
provide ongoing operational support and reporting for the IMS senior management team
assist with carrying out detailed business process mapping, to design, improve, identify and implement process improvements across IMS
build and maintain a IMS Sharepoint site and team knowledge Wiki
establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders through excellent service.
To succeed in this role, you will have extensive back office experience in financial services, with a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, commerce, economics or related field. Previous experience in a consulting firm or a large financial institution is highly valued.
Your ability to translate data using your highly advanced excel skills will be crucial to your success.
