$139,844 - $166,066 (depending on experience) plus up to 15.4% superannuation and a performance bonus

The Superannuation team is responsible for the regulation of superannuation trustees and funds to ensure compliance with the law and promotion of good outcomes for consumers. The team's role focuses on the conduct obligations of trustees in their dealings with consumers, including disclosure, advice and complaints. This involves industry issue-based reviews, identifying and actioning misconduct, developing policy and providing advice in relation to policy, publishing guidance, considering applications for relief from legislative requirements and engaging with relevant stakeholders regularly.
The team is based in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart.
As a Senior Manager, you will be required to:
lead and manage team performance to achieve business plan objectives
drive the identification and implementation of strategies and law reform to improve superannuation and meet challenges arising from an aging population
lead and oversee complex supervisions (individual matters and projects) into participants in the superannuation industry
guide project teams undertaking research and analysis on emerging issues in the superannuation industry, and
- build and manage strategic partnerships with stakeholders (Treasury, APRA, ATO), industry groups and other regulatory bodies, including representing ASIC at government and industry meetings.

You will have a relevant bachelor's degree as well as product development or portfolio management experience gained in retail and/or industry superannuation organisations.
You are a skilled people leader that can guide your team in delivering on the strategic direction and you know how to use your highly effective communication skills to influence and guide key stakeholders.
