The team
The Specialist Support & Reporting team is responsible for providing a range of services to enable ASIC's Enforcement teams to operate efficiently and focus on running investigations and litigation by taking responsibility for some of the more specialised tasks. These services include maintaining Enforcement's case management system, assistance with the time recording and finance management system, undertaking systems training, facilitating quality assurance processes and undertaking data reporting for senior management. The team provides guidance on ensuring Enforcement matters are managed in accordance with Enforcement's project management methodology and assists with procurement activities.
The role
As Specialist Support, you will be required to:
- support the Specialist Support Team leader and work closely with other team members
- set up new Enforcement matters into ASIC's document management, finance and investigation reporting systems
- provide training and guidance on the above systems, be the first point of contact for Enforcement staff
- ensure information captured in the investigation reporting system is accurate and up to date; and
- perform a secretariat function for at least one of the Enforcement teams' referral or matter review meetings
About you
We require an individual possessing high level analytical skills and experience interpreting legislation, procedural manuals and guidelines. You will thrive working independently in a fast-paced environment whilst managing competing deadlines and outcomes. The right candidate will enjoy being the ‘go-to' person for internal team members and stakeholders.
You will have tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Finance/Accounting or relevant work experience in an enforcement agency, legal services, professional services or operational/data processing environments.
