The Investment Managers & Superannuation (IMS) team is responsible for the regulation of responsible entities, managed investment schemes, investment managers, custodial services providers and superannuation trustees and funds. This includes conduct and disclosure requirements. We also provide assistance and advice to government, primarily Treasury, on law reform in the areas that we regulate.
In this senior role, you will use your extensive experience as a project manager to oversee multiple strategic projects, projects teams and competing needs simultaneously. The delivery of these projects will help shape ASIC's work to change the behaviour of superannuation trustees.
provide project management services across IMS to ensure work streams are delivered on time and meet their objectives, including:
creating and executing a structured methodology for project plans
identifying and managing interdependencies and dependencies between projects and other ASIC business work streams
overseeing day to day operational aspects of projects including resources and budgeting
ensuring governance is in place to manage project status, risks and financials, and
monitoring and escalating risks and issues to IMS Senior Leadership Team.
engage with stakeholders and consultants to align and agree on program of work and anticipate changes that may impact the program of work
coordinate logistics for project meetings, activities and other project related events including preparation of agendas, status reports, and minutes of meetings
implement changes in processes and procedures to ensure IMS team understand the concepts of project management
You have a formal qualification in project management, such as PRINCE 2 or PMP, with a deep understanding of best practice project and program management methodologies. You have well developed organisation skills and a demonstrated ability to achieve results within defined timeframes and budget. You will have strong critical thinking skills and confidence working with and interpreting data.
