Lead ASIC's publication and design capability, shaping high‑impact reports and strategic content that support a fair and efficient financial system. This senior leadership role combines publication and design expertise with strong people management and stakeholder management to deliver clear, accessible and influential communications for our external stakeholders.

  • Salary between $152,074 - $168,164 (depending on experience), plus 15.4% superannuation

The team 

ASIC's Strategy and Corporate Affairs Group is responsible for leading ASIC's communications and stakeholder engagement including internal, corporate and external communications (including media), as well as digital and social channels. Its purpose is to build and leverage strategic stakeholder relationships to drive engagement and protect and enhance ASIC's reputation.

Group Communications leads the Strategic Communications and Internal Communications teams and takes a whole-of-ASIC approach.

 

The role

As a Publication and Design Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage ASIC's Publication and Design teams to deliver high‑quality editorial, design and digital content across reports, regulatory publications and strategic communications.
  • Provide senior editing and design leadership, setting standards and acting as a trusted technical adviser to stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior leaders and subject‑matter experts to shape clear, accessible and high‑impact publication solutions.
  • Drive efficient delivery through strong planning, prioritisation and leveraging digital tools to support continuous improvement of workflows and processes.
  • Create and sustain a collaborative, high-performing, and healthy team environment and culture.

We're looking for an experienced, values‑driven leader who can shape how ASIC communicates complex regulatory information with clarity, impact and integrity. You'll bring strong editorial and design leadership, the confidence to advise senior stakeholders, and a passion for delivering work that builds public trust
