Your team
The Digital, Data & Technology (DD&T) group is responsible for delivering transformational change and key technology-related operational services across ASIC.
The DD&T group includes Information Technology, Cyber Security, Data, Digital, Portfolio Office, and Registry Connect (modernising ASIC's Business Registers). These teams provide a wide range of development and support services to ASIC, including undertaking a significant business transformation in several areas such as data and analytics, cloud, mobility, and application modernisation.
We make use of the latest technology with an increased focus on data sharing and analytics, which will make ASIC a ‘best in class' regulator supporting the Australian Financial Markets.
Your role
As the Senior Manager Digital Strategy & Capability, you will contribute to the design and implementation of ASIC's digital strategy by:
- Partnering with the business to update the digital strategy and roadmaps.
- Overseeing the prioritisation, budget, planning, and delivery of digital initiatives and ideas.
- Providing advice and support to the business and ASIC programs impacting the ASIC Digital Agenda.
- Liaising with external stakeholders and government agencies/regulators on digital strategies and customer interaction.
- Engaging with senior leaders, collaborating with group members to implement key priorities, and representing ASIC at a senior level as required.
- Planning and scheduling work to achieve agreed business plan objectives.
- Delivering objectives within agreed budget allocations.
- Consulting and working collaboratively across the DD&T group to achieve business outcomes.
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Strong leadership experience in leading teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and influence decision-makers at the highest levels of corporate or government structures.
- Proven experience managing complex business stakeholder relationships, particularly in driving transformational change involving digital uplift, business process reengineering, and application modernisation.
- Experience developing technology strategies and roadmaps.
- Expertise in budgeting, strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, contract management, and vendor management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead an effective team to achieve expected outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills, including managing business and technology issues.
