- Salary from $147,074 - $162,634 plus 15.4% superannuation

The team
The Communications and Corporate Affairs (CCA) Group builds and leverages media and strategic stakeholder relationships to improve awareness and understanding of ASIC's mandate and outcomes. It manages external, digital and internal communications, and delivers ASIC's consumer education and Moneysmart.
This role sits in the Corporate Affairs team in the CCA Group, which is accountable for consumer communications, including Moneysmart, corporate reporting, events and communications, and CCA's strategy.
From 2025, ASIC's Moneysmart program, which was accessed by more than 11 million Australians last year, will start delivering a new ongoing program to ensure Australians have easy access to independent, reliable information on superannuation and retirement through new consumer education campaigns, content and tools.
The role
As a Product Manager you will be accountable for:
- Leading the development and execution of the product roadmap for Moneysmart, including defining a clear vision, setting strategic goals, and aligning stakeholders.
- Understanding and representing user needs, ensuring products are designed with consumers in mind.
- Enhancing user experience by leveraging data-driven insights to prioritise features, improvements, and innovations that drive engagement and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Prioritising the review and delivery of product features and capabilities for superannuation and retirement tools and calculators to be delivered as part of a new ongoing program based on consumer needs, business priorities, and technical feasibility.
- Providing strategic technical and professional advice on the development of transactions, including editorial, user experience, user interface, and accessibility design.
- Working closely with consumer communications, design, and digital teams and external partners to deliver high quality products.
- Establishing and maintaining governance structures to ensure the effective oversight and delivery of Moneysmart programs.
About you
- 8+ years of experience in product management or related fields with a relevant Bachelor's degree.
- Significant experience in developing and implementing enterprise systems.
- Deep understanding of one or more applications and experience synthesising a range of inputs to develop a product roadmap.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the development of documentation and processes governing delivery of features related to the application.
- A deep empathy for customers and proven ability to translate customer needs into products that solve real problems.
- Experience working across multiple projects to identify common requirements, dependencies and priorities.
- Experience applying appropriate prioritisation and sequencing of work packages to meet delivery timelines; including providing support to projects establishing their product backlog for delivery.
- Relevant certifications or familiarity with AGILE, SAFe and MSP methodologies used to make strategic delivery decisions are highly regarded.
- Experience working autonomously in a complex environment, exercising a significant degree of independence and judgement about appropriate application of design, processes and operational principles.
- Strong stakeholder management and liaison skills.
