The TRaD program takes a lifecycle view of a person's career and looks at the contribution they can make while they are at ASIC. It seeks to bring out the best in them while rewarding their commitment with the opportunity to develop skills they might not otherwise be able to develop.
It therefore has a four-stage lifecycle with specific goals:
1. Attract people with the right attitude and aptitude to acquire the knowledge and skills.
2. Recruit people who are the best fit for ASIC and specifically want to work in the ASIC IT environment.
3. Develop TRaD program recruits within a dedicated, accelerated learning program.
4. Retain the best recruits and stream them into the right career paths at ASIC.
